Picks of the month – August 2015

Welcome to Picks of the month, where I share a few things I have found useful the last month.

It can be anything from blog posts and software tools to books and techniques.

My RSS Feeds (or: great websites to visit from time to time)

RSS is a fantastic way to keep current with lots of different sources, without the hassle of going through a bunch of sites every day. You make sure you never miss something important. It’s a huge help for me when trying to stay up to date all the time (especially on web development, which we all know is moving extremely fast).

New Name. Same content.

I have struggled a bit lately with the name of the blog, and how I want to portrait it to the world. I eventually came to the conclusion that Maximum Developer is only a partially correct name for the blog.

Obscure test failure after using keyDown with protractor

Lately I have been writing a lot of protractor tests, both privately and on the job. I recently got the displeasure of hunting down an insanely obscure bug which literally showed itself several minutes after the problem actually occurred.
